Formula One is the premiere sporting event in the auto-racing world. In 2008, Singapore hosted the first Formula One street night race, making history and further propelling Singapore as a world-class sports and lifestyle destination. The race had a unique position being the only night race and was held on a street circuit right in the city.
We are honored to conceptualize and design a series of 3 commemorative F1 cars for this 11th edition. As a world class sporting event that offers vibrant, unique experiences to motorsports enthusiasts, why not present the 2018 Singapore Grand Prix Car as a testament to that?
Inspired by the floral and greenery of our garden city as well as the uniqueness of our Singapore culture, we designed the livery with a dash of iconic monuments and a splash of Peranakan flavor, making this series truly unique, contemporary and distinct from any other F1 car designs.
The 2018 car has some new features:
- T-wings and shark-fin style engine
- Halo cockpit protection device
- Halo cockpit protection device
