Client: SMRT
Year: 2015

Do you know the train models on our rail network? Can you identify the different engine sounds from our fleet of bus models? Does a ride on the train or bus captivate you and make you want to learn more of our public transport?

SMRT has a Friends of SMRT programme that was running for a while in the past few years with new applications coming in to join the programme. Friends of SMRT is a group of enthusiasts who share a strong passion for Singapore's train, bus and public transport system. Open to ages 15 and above, Friends of SMRT members get exclusive privileges to visit Singapore's depots and witness behind-the-scenes how SMRT's trains and buses operate.

As the name implies, the programme brings together members of the public who have a keen interest in trains, buses and taxis. They join the programme to get first hand news of the latest transport activities, vehicle fleet and launch events etc.

We are tasked to revamp the programme with a new brand identity and logo that would excite and interest people to join. Design elements would include membership cards, letterheads and lanyard invites. We gave the new identity a quirky and whimsical outlook that incorporates our unique transport elements, local icons as well as SMRT's livery design to represent a refreshed new look for the programme that the audience can relate to.
