Sight Through Sound: Ryuichi Sakamoto seeks to take a closer look at 4 distinct eras of Sakamoto – the majestic 80s, heart-swelling 90s, the minimalist 2000s, and the avante-garde recent decade - and celebrate brilliance borne of unquenchable curiosity.
Our idea for this accordion 10-fold programme booklet serves 2 functions: as a keepsake memento poster where one side is informational while the other is a montage of Sakamoto's films. The minimalist design is inspired by Sakamoto's profound range of abstract styles as a solo artist and musician, harmoniously creating a dynamic and refreshing look and feel for the audience.
